September 5th. - South Delta and Richmond Tour

Starting from Derek and Edete's home in Delta, we followed the quiet backroads through the farmlands of South Delta and Tsawwassen, ending up at the Boundary Bay airport.

The airport is normally a busy place, but this day there was lots of free parking available for us.

We found a nice grass field to have a picnic lunch. There were only a few small planes moving about so it was quite peaceful.

A couple of cars dropped out, but the remainder finished the tour through Richmond and donuts at Timmy's.

August 22 - Fort Langley and Telegraph Trail Tour

After a five month suspension of club activities we were finally able to get together for a summer run.

Thanks to Bill and Derek for arranging this tour.

The day started with a picnic lunch on the grounds of Fort Langley National Historic Park. Social distancing was the order of the day as Bill Day give a brief lecture on the history of the Telegraph Trail and it's route through B.C. and Fort Langley

After lunch we embarked on a tour along part of what's left of the Telegraph Trail and through the backroads of Langley.

We ended up at Krause's Berry Farm, where we received a warm welcome.

We had reserved parking next to the berry fields.
While some indulged in blueberry waffles, others bought some delicious fruit pies.
It was a busy day at the farm and the cars were a big hit with the many photographers and admiring people.
