Great showing of "A's" at Shady Grove...!Members assembled @ the Colossus Theatre complex @ 9:30am for the start of an "antique" run throughout the Fraser Valley. Due to the more than threatening weather conditions, only four (4) Model A's braved the climate, accompanied by 8 "moderns" for a total of 26 members and family. First stop was the quaint town of Fort Langley for a chance to stretch our legs and a visit an antique Hat Shop. As the Hat shop was closed and not scheduled to open for another hour, the decision was made to move on. We then enjoyed a leisurely tour through the countryside, for about an hour, in eventually arriving at the most incredible homestead, Museum and collection of memorabilia at the home of Abe & Elaine Suderman "Shady Grove", including a 1920 general store, an "auto dealership", a replica gas station and surrounding buildings + one of the most extensive collection of Willy's vehicles, some restored, some hot rodded and some in unique basket case displays..! 091507
