• Find a Model A for new AV8 project, following Tardel’s book

• Don’t want to wreck a good restored or original car

• Find and rebuild a flathead engine

• Reliable driver – not intended for judging or shows

• Low budget (proceeds from Mustang) – optimistic?

• Do all mechanical, bodywork, painting, assembly myself

• Keep it looking basically stock except for running gear
