The Lions Gate Model A Club is a non-profit society dedicated to the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of 1928 to 1931 Model A Ford vehicles. The club is based in Vancouver B.C. and is a chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America.
It includes members from Metro Vancouver, as well as the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver Island and Washington State.
We enjoy monthly meetings, tours, technical seminars, workshops and social get-togethers.
Guests and new members, whether a current Model A owner or not, are always welcomed.
Please contact our president or membership director if you are interested in attending a meeting or joining the club.

Lions Gate Model A Club Meetings

Our next meeting will be February 18th. 2025

Guests interested in attending one of our meetings should e-mail a request to president and an invitation will be forwarded to you.

We are supplementing in-person meetings with Zoom video as well for those not able to attend.
An e-mail notice with a link to the Zoom meeting will be sent out to all members prior to the meeting.
If you do not have a camera on your desktop PC, you may want to purchase a webcam, or you can use a smartphone or simply phone in to a meeting to listen to the conversation

Annual membership fees are due at the beginning of the year
Al Glen is now accepting payment for your 2025 membership.
Payments can be made by Interac e-transfer through your bank and will be automatically deposited in the club's bank account.
Instructions and the e-mail address to use can be found in the Members Area.
Payments can still also be made by mailing your cheque directly to Al Glen. Please make cheques payable to Lions Gate Model A Club.
Payment by cash or cheque will also be accepted at our monthly meetings

Please note the campaign to write to your MP about the federal mandate on the use of ethanol in all gasoline.

Also, if you want to fill up your tank with ethanol-free gas for winter storage, the nearest available supply is
the Ferndale Country Store, exit 262 off I-5, on La Bounty Dr., about 13 miles south of Blaine.
There appears to be no problem returning across the border with large jerry cans of gas.
Note: you may get up to 1/3 gal. of residual ethanol gas from a pump and hose when selecting ethanol-free gas
if the same hose is used for multiple grades, although the station noted is separate.
A new source recently found is the Union 76 station at Hwy 543 and Boblett St. in Blaine, just south of the truck crossing.

Jack Baryluk and Ben Tillak entered their cars in Restorer's Class judging at the Northwest Regional Meet in Victoria.
Jack received a bronze award and Ben received a silver award.
